Default Please help to identify my turbo

Hello people,

Please help me.

I see 21322 on the housing. Serial number on the sticker is T-19587. It is t3/t4 e50 I believe. From the oil inlet hole i see shiny shaft, or something. From the output - nothing is seen inside. I believe this turbo is from scion tc turbokit? And it must be ball bearring? Please help me.

Thanks

With that serial number theres no way it came off a Scion tC turbo kit. The Scion kit is relatively new and all newer Turbonetics turbos have a serial number that starts with T-2XXXXX If you can post some pics or measure the inducer and major diameter of the compressor wheel and the exducer and major diameter of the turbine wheel we can tell you what size turbo it is for sure.

It is written 21322 E-50 on cold side housing, and .0,48 stg II on the hotside housing.

The exhaust whell meassures 54mm and 65mm.
The cold side whell 54mm and 76mm.

Inlet hole is 3".

Serial is T-19587.

how to identify if it is ball bearring or not?

turbo was removed with evolution wg, raptor bov and Spearco ic.also all the hoses, black chrome aluminium piping, tig welded downpipe, etc., etc. was made by turbonetics. So this turbo is from the kit, but what kit?? From first view I thought it's from SCION :S

Also, if you can provide me information what kind of turbocharger it is, maybe you can give some experience and tell me on what motor it is suitable and how much power it can produce? Maybe someone got airflow map for it?

It's big turbo, and if it is not ball bearing (I bought it like ball bearring), it will be to big for my YB Cosworth 2,0 turbo.

But maybe it was old kit, without ball bearing? Or just not a kit, but custom made? I don't see any shiny balls from oil drain hole. Also the back of the compressor is silver, not yelow, not bllue... Can you post photo of simple and ball bearing? And please explain differences. Also what specs this turbo got? Thanks

The turbo have some side to side shaft play. As i know ball bearing turbo can have only front to back shaft play. Can you confirm this? How to identify if it is ball bearing and good condition?
