Default SR20DET + GT-K 650 or something else?

Hi, I currently have journalbearing HKS T04R with divided .82AR turbinehousing bolted on my SR20DET. It's a bit laggy, I have 23-24Psi at ~5000rpm, limiter is going to be 8500-9000rpm after all setup is done.

Instead of changing turbine housing to smaller AR I'm thinking to buy GT-K 650. Engine internals and everything else has been built to take big power. Goal is to achieve 600-700hp from crank.

Are there any other turbo options that would suite my needs? Turbine housing needs to be divided T4, because I don't want to change manifold or make modifications to it.

Is GT-K 650 watercooled and with divided turbinehousing? And are there different turbine housing options?

Thanks in advance

The GT-K 650 should be an excellent choice as a replacement. It does sound like you'll need a special turbine housing to make it bolt on to your car. Unfortunately I can't tell you for sure if Turbonetics has something on the shelf that will work but for custom stuff you can contact one of the Sales guys directly and they can tell you exactly what Turbonetics could offer you. I'm from Finland and reaching Turbonetics guys by phone is expensive and difficult due to time zones. Do you know if GT-K 650 is with divided turbine housing?

Hi, thanks for information. In what car/motor you have bolted your GT-K on?
