Default which gtk turbo

which gtk turbo is closest to the GT37r & GT40 for spool up and ability to make hp and will the gtk spool any faster.It's for an srt-4 with a ams build motor and custom side mount exhaust mani.

I don't look at Garrett maps/info often to be honest but what is your HP goal. It would be easier to talk turbo with that info.

If you are looking for 800 WHP the GT-K 850 is the turbo you would need to look at.. It does run a rather large turbine section so depending on the motor setup it might lag a little but it will make the power you need it to. There's a DSM out there running a GT-K 1000 with a GT-K 850 turbine section making in excess of 700 WHP at 40 PSI.
