Default turbine wheel

ok i have a 76mm turbonetics with a 65mm turbine wheel which is a F165 wheel.im wanting to make 700hp @ the wheels what all would i need to do to upgrade to a bigger turbine wheel and is it something that i need to do.i was told to go from the 65mm turbine wheel to a 68mm turbine wheel.is it worth it?

my turbo is a T-38401

my turbo is a T-38401
700 WHP with a single F1-65 turbine wheel is going to be a stretch. With as much backpressure as you are going to make from that motor you might run into backpressure issues unless the turbine housing A/R is .96 or bigger. Upgrading the turbine wheel can be done. You would need to contact Benita at 805-581-0333 and should can give the logistics on how to do it and a price.

With .96 A/R you are going to be right at the edge of 700 WHP with that turbine. I personally think you are going to run into backpressure issues at the top end.

They might be as it's just after lunch. She run's all the customer service operations at Turobnetics. If you leave a voicemail she'll reach you back or you can try again in a little bit. Alternatively if you just want to do the turbine wheel upgrade you can contact one of the authorized vendors at the top of the board and they can price quote you.

ok so i can get another turbonetics turbo.its a 76mm with a .81A/R and its the F1-68 which is what im needing.the question is will the .81 A/R be to small or would i be better of with mine.so below is what we have.which would be better for my 700 @ wheels

mine T-38401 76mm turbo .96 A/R with F1-65 p trim journal ball bearing

his T-27544 76mm turbo .81 A/R with F1-68 s trim ceramic ball bearing
