Default Gtk-350

Hello everyone, my name is Dan. New to this forum. I'm considering a GTK 350 for my turbo bike and had a few questions about that turbo.

First, are the flanges for the turbine inlet and outlet commonly available flanges and if so what size/name are they.

Second what size wastegate will support this turbo. Is 38mm sufficient? The gate will be mounted almost directly on the turbine housing.

Thanks ahead of time for any replies. Dan

Man this place needs to be spiced up a bit. No reply yet. I guess admins don't work weekends at Turbonetics.

Updated question and bump. Is Vecco High Performance still a dealer for turbonetics? I've narrowed my turbos down to either the GTK325 or 350. Are both of these T3 inlet flanges? What size is the outlet flange is that a t3 also? I've been looking for the outlet flanges all over the place and all I see is t4. Would 2.5 inch exhaust be sufficient for the outlet housings? Thanks for the help.

Not sure how I missed this thread and yes I do work weekends. I was on my honeymoon until late Sunday night so not much "computer" work happening for the last week or so. Sorry about that. I see ash answered the first questions for you there so let me see if I can help with the second post. Vecco I'm not 100% sure but can check with the Sales guys if you like. Both of those turbos utilize a T3 inlet flange yes. Most T3 turbine discharge ports are about 2-2.5". This particular one I believe is just under 3". If you need a flange Turbonetics can provide that for you as well. Here's a couple part numbers which should work for the GT-K turbine discharge.

T3 4-Bolt Discharge Flange PN 21418
T3 4-Bolt Turbine Discharge Flange, Stainless Steel PN 21418S

Turbonetics has a complete array of flanges to fit every turbocharger they sell. Catalog link:

Its a hayabusa engine. 1363cc 10500 rpm. The motor flows more like a 2.0 liter. Its a street bike so only shooting for around 300-350hp. Thanks for the input. The reason I asked about Vecco is that they had the cheapest price on the GTK but I've been calling and nobody can help me out. I guess I'll just order from Jegs or something.

BTW, I was just razzing you Robert. Congrats on getting married. Say good by to your freedom!

Thanks man and yeah I knew it was coming so I'm ok with it. With 2 l of displacement worth of air either unit would work. The GT-K 325 will spool faster due to the smaller turbine housing A/R and compressor wheel but since you are revving out so far you might actually be better off with the larger A/R. This ones a tough call but either one should work for you. The turbine wheels are exactly the same so what you could do is go with the 350 but order an additional smaller turbine housing A/R as well. That would let you switch between the two and see which one you like better. Turbine housings are not very expensive and you could always ebay it later. As an FYI the vendors with banners at the top of this forum are preferred vendors so any of them could help you out as well.
