Default Custom Turbo for Custom Audi

I have never seen a Turbonetics snail on an Audi. Your Turbos and warranty appeal to me, but I need more than that to committ...

I have a 97 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8L Turbo. It has a fully forged bottom end, and will soon have a fully built head. (not before the big turbo. )
I am running a standalone Ecu which I built. WB02 which I built and It is Sequential injected and true COP ignition (just like a stock B5 TQM, -which is acronym for (95)96-01 A4 Turbo Quattro Manual) with well over 1200CFM (at less than .12 psi drop) liquid to air IC, custom single stage meth injection, fabricated full 3" straight exhaust/DP awaiting turbo decision. I'll use my Tial 44mm WG and a screamer pipe.
I can control ANYTHING that can be conceived, and if not, I can modify my ECU to suit any need this side of a handjob...

I have been DROOLING over the GT-K line ever since Turbonetics first whispered the name to the public. They all just look like the pinnacle of turbocharger performance.

Looks can be deceiving.
I am not seeing any hard fact DATA proving any GT-K superior to any commensurate Garrett/Precision and certainly not FP's worked over monsters

I am looking for PERFORMANCE RELATED reasons to choose Turbonetics.
I think it's pretty obvious they excel in all other areas (warranty, aesthetics, support/this very messageboard)

Price is up there, and hard data results are unclear, and I think those are two things you're going to have to overcome if you want to start seeing sales increase.

What are the GT-K's commensurate to?

What do they actually "eat" ?
( like the SEMA exhibit aquariums had written on them )

What do you suggest for my 1.8L or possibly 2.0L schnitzel burner
( stroking is fairly easy and affordable )

GT3582R is the "crossing the line" turbo for my chosen platform -and for many other platforms. GT3582R -w- .63 AR even, is quite laggy for such a small displacement.

What can we come up with that has 600+ AWHP potential, but winds up quick enough for DD/road course use.

What kind of costs are we talking when you start mix matching turbines and compressors? (GT=K 650 turbone with 850 compressor for example)

Last, I saw a couple of your resellers offering discounts on GT-K turbos with 5 bolt Ford Turbine outlets. Any chance you're able to use these to lower the cost of my custom turbo? -V-band adapters aren't that hard to fabricate
PS I need a fast, high volume BOV that doesn't sound like a bullwhip being cracked. but that's probably a better subject for another forum...

Thanks for the time, and I sincerely appreciate your suggestions, answers, info and advice

Well, first off the mix matching custom GTK's days are over. You can only purchase the part numbered GTk's that Turbonetics carries and nothing different. If you want something different like a 72mm with a P trim turbine then you can just purchase a ball bearing T series turbo. Pm me for pricing.
