hello,
i was wondering are there any other kits for this model car,
or would it be rite to run a bigger turbo with this kit.
im chasing 600rwhp and was just considering a kit to make it a bit easyier buying parts.

Or could you recomend a turbo that would suit that power output with out being pushed to hard.

cheers michael

Are you still running the factory 2JZ-GE? If so it may require some internal work on the motor to make 600 WHP.

If you have the 2JZ-GTE engine this kit wouldn't be right for you as it was designed around the 2JZ-GE (non-turbo 2JZ) motor. Turbonetics does sell a manifold for the 2JZ-GTE motor with a T4 turbine flange that could support something like a GT-K 650 or 850 which would support your power goals however you would need to fab or source your own downpipe. For the intake side Spearco also makes a Supra TT intercooler kit but again any pipes not included you would need to source or fab.

If thats the case then yeah the manifold and turbo would fit just fine. Now the question is how much power you are going to want in the end. A GT-K 650 would get you to 600 WHP but there are several options to get you beyond that. The question is how you race and what you are after. Boost threshold? peak power? What is the desired spool up time?

Desierd power would have to be around the 700-800rwhp and ten maybe more in time,
Its main use would be drag/dnyo and im hoping for a solid 10 second car that dosent have to be pushed to hard.
would like boost to come on low but not somthing that s going to run out in higher revs, lag is rely a problem.

Based on your input I wouldn't go any smaller then a GT-K 850. Thats a 72 millimeter compressor wheel HP series and flows for some amazing power. Basically its an HP72 compressor wheel and a T4 S trim turbine section however with the GT-K you get a ported compressor shroud to widen the compressor map and improve your lower pressure ration efficiency and boost response. The turbine side is a 10 blade high flow turbine with a cermaic coated turbine housing. The standard A/R would be .81. That is probably the best choice I can give you at this point given your goals. If you want to get really crazy theres also the GT-K 1000 which uses the same turbine sections but with a HP76 (76 mill) compressor wheel. For reference with that compressor wheel in a Super T76 config a Supra here in the states bade 950+ WHP without spray.
