Default That I/C is way better than stock

I have a question...
If guys are taking 6.0 I/C's and putting them on their 7.3's and they fit, why wouldn't they just go with the 6.0 I/C from Spearco? or is it way too big to fit? Is there a lot of difference between the Spearco 7.3 and 6.0 I/C?
Just curious.

Yes there is both a size and pipe configuration difference on the Spearco upgrade.

I saw the difference in the pictures. Looks like the width and height are bigger, but the mounting looks the same. The boots may be a little different on the 7.3, but otherwise would it bolt up? Is the thickness or height a cause to make it not fit? Looks like a really nice cooler and might go nicely with the turbonetics turbo I have.
Thanks

I don't know that Turbonetics has ever tried switching one to other application wise but seeing as how both kits are priced the same I would go with the one specific to your application unless there is some reason you can't. Both units for both applications provide equal benefits in the areas of pressure drop and thermal efficiency.
