Default Clutch or release bearing issue?

On "first gear" or "reverse", when you are balancing between the clutch and gas, the car would normally move at gradual speed.

My car will not move at all until I let go the clutch completely.
Is it the release bearing, the clutch or something else?

Thank you,

it could be the release bearing but have you tried adjusting the clutch pedal yet. You can actually change the throw of the pedal and usually you have to over time as the spring wears. If you haven't adjusted the pedal height yet I would start there first.

Zeniac what kind of car you got If it is a nissan/ Infinity then i have heard issues of something like this. It is mainly happening on the G35's though. A buddy of mine was cruising down the road in his G35 shifted into 6th and released the clutch and all the car did was rev up, So back to 5th he went and still nothing. I believed it turned out to be the Throw out bearing had given up. My Sentra though once it broke in the clutch started moving in its engagement point. It started off really close to the floor, now it is about 2 inches from the top but it still grabs like tomorrow is not gonna make it here.

Oh one more thing make sure there is plenty of fluid in the little resivoir for the clutch master cylinder. I drove myself nuts for 2 days trying to figure out what was up with this clutch and it had just sucked some air in the line. I felt like an idiot
