Port is all good for sure. Im trying to help him from the blind cause Im back in detorit and he's in KY. he said he got on it and let off at about 5,500 rpm then it just died. it will start and idle ok for a min then starts getting jumpy and wont even move without stalling. Should I be worried about the black smoke?

Yeah sounds like it running WAY too much fuel. Could be a leak somewhere in one of the couplers. If he has a boost gauge what vacuum is it reading at idle?

Keep me posted... Oh yeah, one other thing to check, make sure the O2 extender is installed on the second O2 sensor not the primary.
