Your car is my inspiration. When I met you at Z day, I new that this was my future. And look at me now. The S/C is gone (to France actually) and the Turbo is in effect. Now just clean up a little cosmetic blemish or 2 and I'm in tip top shape.
Your ride is too clean. I don't know how you do it. Well maybe that is because mine is my daily driver.
Very impressive dyno chart.
BTW Are you running with the reflash or UTEC??

Cool, I'm glad you're liking your kit. Big improvement over the supercharger?
My car is on the reflash still. So far so good, it's making great power on a few mods and at 9psi.

Also, are you utilizing the overboost pipe?
Any Manual or Electronic Boost Controller? If so what brand?
I understand that the kits out of the box are designed to run at 9psi but in reality they stay fairly constant at 8psi. Or maybe that is just the new kits?
I have one of the newest kits available, and I have not broken the 8psi barrier. I am tempted to get a boost controller and see if I can sqweek out a couple of more horses by boosting it up a notch or 2. But I still want to keep my engine alive as long as I can. It is my daily driver as I said.
Let me know.
Randy

I don't have the overboost pipe, but am running 7lb wastegate spring. I will boost to about 7.7 psi on that sprign with the boost creep. If you get a boost controller, I'd suggest getting a 5 or 7lb wastegate spring and installing the controller on top of that.
I'm using the blitz sbc-id3. It has worked grat in the past but lately its been getting a little flakey on me. I think its an issue with it not being able to control boost properly due to the wastegate orientation. The overboost pipe will be going on soon with a JWT oil spacer.

I have read that electronic boost controllers are really only accurate when in the teens of Psi, like 15psi or more. Anything lower is troublesome.
I guess your case validates this arguement?

I wouldn't say that. It seems like it only creeps under higher gears under heavier load. I'm going to guess that this is where its running into issues adapting due to its inability to accurately control the wastegate. Then again, this might not be the case. Hopefully I can get the wastegate fix installed within the next few months.

Some eye candy - new shots of engine bay.
I've made a few changes since the last time I've posted pics. Let me know what you think.
