Default Turbonetics kit question

I have purchased a car with a typical turbonetics kit, intercooler, exh.man,intake,BOV,etc. It is not running well, cutting out
and hesitating and many wires have been cut with gauges not working, etc.

How can I tell if it has the mods to the MAP and Computer
that typically come with turbonetics kits. I don't know what
to look for or where?

You may want to include the make and model of the car with your post.
