Default 10 psi spring?

i got a question. i got a scion tc. i wanna know if i get the 10 pound spring, would i have to get it re-tuned? also do you thing the 2az-fe motor could handle it?

There is no 10 PSI spring but the spring currently in that kit is a 9 PSI spring. With the pressure drop across the intercooler and piping you see 8-8.5 at the intake manifold. That being said you could add some shims to see 10 PSI at the manifold but you ABSOLUTELY MUST get the car tuned if you are going to do that.

how would i know if my bpv is adjusted right because i moved it and it hasnt ben running right lately. also in the cold air at night it runs sh***y.?

I'm not sure from South Carolina who is. www.unichip.us should have a list of authorized dealers and tuners. As for your BOV it sounds like it might not have enough preload. What is your vacuum showing at idle?

Yes but what is the unit of measure on the vacuum portion. Some boost gauges read PSI for boost and in/hg for vacuum. Some read in kPa, bar, PSI for both, etc.
