Spec-V Turbo kit....Stupid Bolt!!
So if your familiar with the spec-v turbokit you know what bolt im talking about. I dont have any pics but its the bolt from the downpipe and waste gate that are extremly close together....This thing gives me nightmares and i have to pull it off again is there some special technique/tool that will help with me getting this thing off in less than 6 hours?

Do you have the newer model downpipe with the slip fit flange?

Well if you look at the pipe that connects to the wastegate does it have an accordian shaped tube is it just slipped on there?

Yes I know it bolts on but the actual pipe before the flange that bolts to the wastegate, does it have ribs like a flex pipe or is it just pressed on? If you have the slip fit one you can rotate that flange sideways to get the turbine housing bolt in and then bolt in the wastegate after.

Yes it would have. You could order the newer one if you want to save yourself some time in the future. Treadstone bought up all the parts from the kits so they should have some.
