I was going over your write up again since my WIS should be here in a few days. I do have a Autometer nexus boost gauge. So I dont need to buy a MAP sensor? Also I would like to use a tank just for the WIS. Not use the windshield sprayer if possible. Any suggestions?

Jaz Products makes just about any shape tank you can think of. They are cheap too. http://www.jazproducts.com/index2.htm

Oh and no I believe the Autometer Nexus gauge uses the same GM map sensor and harness John used. You should be fine with that.

haha that was awhile ago. Ive put off installing the kit just because the weather sucks here and I'm not driving my car much anyway. I have a few project to do so I'll prolly put aside a whole day to do everything. I still need to get a tank and find where to put it. I'm going to call Autometer to comfirm that wire as well. Ive just been really busy.

No worries dude. I'm pretty positive its the same for all Autometer harnesses.

if it is the electric boost gauge then yes the nexus uses the same GM map sensor. You'll need to tap into the purple wire to get your volt reading.

I think I have to try this. I'm not using my washer tank (glass Kaminari hood), so it's a perfect setup for me.
