Default Egay turbo VS turbonetics experience

well my 300ZX use to use a egay turbo it was just slightly bigger. around june my egay turbo died due to excessive shaftplay but what do you except out of cheap engineering?

i use to boost 20psi on it just to get the rear tires loose in second gear. now with a turbonetics i can actually chirp them with 9psi, imagine what it could do at 20psi.

well i bought my T3/T4 turbonetics used for $440. when i compared both of them it truly was a difference. I use to think "why should i spend so much money on a turbo when i can buy and rebuild one and it will be as good as a new name brand turbo and better" i was soo wrong for the longest time.

upon test driving my turbo i noticed it has MORE pull to it and it sounded soooo good like 100x better then the egay turbo. it also went into boost faster. remember the turbonetics is just a slightly smaller unit. the egay turbo was a 54 trim or a 56 trim i believe.

so my experience is a thumbs up. i also love the turbonetics return policy even though my turbo probably doesn't qualify anymore it's still a good policy. i will never go with anything else but turbonetics.

Glad to hear we could do right by you! Enjoy that unit and of course let us know if we can help you into something larger in the future!
