Arrow What do you think about this Used Kit?

I'm looking into getting a turbo kit for my 06 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-V /60 000Klm

I have found this used Turbonetics kit of a forum and would like to get an oppion on it and what the condition of these parts would be in based on the time line.

"The kit is a Turbonetics kit, but they no longer make it. Everything was purchased new (preordered it in the summer of 2006). The kit wasn't installed until January of 2008. It was ordered from Turbo-kits.com.

The kit was installed in January 2008 and uninstalled in September of 2009. I started out running 8psi, eventually went to 12psi and then 14psi. Never had any problems with the kit at those pressure levels."

Kit includes:
Turbonetics T04E 50 trim/Stage III .68 A/R Ceramic Ball Bearing Turbocharger
Turbonetics Evolution Wastegate
Turbonetics Raptor Bypass Valve
Spearco Front Mount Intercooler
Motron 630cc injectors
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
Downpipe w/ heat wrap
All couplers and clamps needed
All charge pipes needed
Stainless steel oil feed line.

No ECU/piggybacks are included.

Asking price is $2250 USD and willing to drop price for stock parts (I/H/E)

The kit has been used for 21 months at 8,12 & 14psi. The kit was making 313whp and 360 ft/lb tq (prob with meth) The parts are from 2006 and the Turbo it's self in Not water cooled. (Like most turbo's sold today by Turbonetics)

Everything is said to work fine and nothing but a few ovious parts (gaskets ect.) would need to be replaced.

I'm wondering what kind of life span do these parts have?? Would it be better for me just to save up and buy a new Treadstone kit? Will I be replacing hafe the kit and rebuilding it in months-years anyways? (when I could put that money towards a new kit)

I offerd $1500 plus my stock I/H/E but I'm thinking 1700-1800 without stock parts. I'm really not sure what this stuff is worth either. (Thats why I'm here)

The kit was purchised 3-4 years ago and has it's fair share of wear and tear.

What I'm trying to find out is:

How long will these parts last me?

Whats a good price on a used kit like this?

Would it be safer to save up for a new kit including a 1 year warrenty?

Would a water cooled turbo be highly benifical?

I would appreciate anyone's help and thier opion. I have never delt with anything like this and would like to play it safe.

Thanks

Should last for quite a while
Whats a good price on a used kit like this?
Price I can't speculate on
Would it be safer to save up for a new kit including a 1 year warrenty?
Turbonetics doesn't make this kit anymore so new may not be a possibility
Would a water cooled turbo be highly benifical?
Water cooled can be a benefit yes as it might increase the longevity of the turbo depending on your set up

You'll have to keep in mind that the seller isn't including any tuning so you'll have to find something to tune the car with.

Tuning means everything, take it from someone who has popped a few engines from not tuning properly.
