[SupraT72]

This is my first post so hopefully this is the right section to use for this question.

I've had a Q trim T72 on my mkiv Supra for about 4 years now. Its a great turbo, spools well and makes 415rwkw (about 700hp at engine) at 21psi on pump gas. Unfortunately on checking it I have found that something went through the exhaust side damaging the turbine wheel and I would like to get a new shaft for it to be on the safe side.

What I would like to know is, can I use a new F1-68 shaft with my old T72 exhaust housing and center section? It says on the Turbonetics site that you need the new F1 housings but I would prefer just to machine my exhaust housing a little bit if thats all that is required to fit the new wheel. Does anyone know if this is possible?
