Turbonetics T3/T4 0.48 Stage 3 Trim 50.

a) The need is power btw 4000-7000 - is this a good setup?
b) What does Trim 50 mean? (I'm a newbie to turbos).

I currently have a problem with white smoke on tap-off only (track marshals are killing me!). Oil temp and pressure is fine, we use gravity drain (about 50mm only) and boost is about 1.3bar. Some have suggested it is because of the Hitachi turbos - will the Turbonetics setup cure this problem.

Thanks. Tom
The turbo setup you are referring to is a pair of T04E 50 trim compressor with T3 Stage 3 turbines. This is a pretty good setup for your motor and should spool pretty well. In regards to oil it could also be a side effect of oil pressure. You might consider running a oil sump pump to pull the oil out of the bearing housings more effectively.
