Hi, I've just bought a turbonetic T66 turbocharger and fit it onto an EJ20T Subaru WRX 2.0L engine with strengthen internals boosting at 30psi. I was expecting the full boost to come in at about 4500rpm, but the turbo only starts to spool at 4300rpm and hit full boost at 6300rpm. And the horsepower is only 530bhp using 95ron fuel , failing to hit my expectation of 600bhp.
What can be the reason? Is 2000cc too small to push this gigantic snail? What is the T66-BB turbo maximun supported BHP? Can I increase the boost further to 37.5psi? What is the T66-BB safety boost limit? Will the T66-BB turbo be damage if use anti-lag system to launch out the car?
